Nicole Ari Parker was born in New York City. She is an American stage and film actress. Her most famous role is was that of Teri her passionate lawyer Teri Jospehson on the Showtime show Soul Food. She is now known by her husband's name, Nikki Kodjoe. Her acting talent was evident from childhood. A Maryland high school contest gave her the best actress award. After her experience in the acting and in "The Washington Ballet Company" and "The Washington Ballet Company", she earned an acting diploma from New York University. The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love earned her a top-quality role. Following this, she starred in movies like "Boogie Nights Spark" and "Blue Streak". Soul Food, her TV show was greatly praised for the performance she gave. Her TV appearances include Second Time Around and Empire. Contractor who was born in Mumbai and resided in Nigeria during seven years had a wide range of adventures and cultural encounters from the age of. After boarding school, for seven years in London, her family relocated to Toronto Canada where she lived for the majority of her childhood and into early adulthood. Contractor studied and became an expert in classical dancing in Toronto. At the Etobicoke School of the Arts (a public school for high schools that is specialized in the arts) she studied ballet and theater. Contractor was just 16 when she realized that acting was going to become her profession. Dance was her passion for over a decade. She accepted a full-scholarship to pursue a degree at the University of Toronto after graduating. There she earned her master's degree in theater and double majored in social and psychology. Contractor was offered the leading part in Pericles following a brief time at the University. She auditioned for the role at Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and won. Her work was highly acclaimed for the 92 shows which she was a part of. She was awarded the 2002 award for the Best Production of the Year, as judged by Canadian critics. The conservatory at Stratford takes eight people, four women along with a couple of others for a week crash course. The actor's involvement in the upcoming season of plays was confirmed, and she was cast in the role of Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
